Position Summary
We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated SAP PP/QM Solution Architect to support the implementation of system and business processes in a state-of-the-art multi-product cell therapy manufacturing facility that will be utilized to manufacture autologous and allogeneic cell therapy products.
The SAP PP/QM Solution Architect, reporting to the Senior Director, GMP Systems, will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) solutions in a GMP biotech industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP PP/QM modules, integration with SAP EWM, 3rd Party MES, LIMS, a deep understanding of SAP best practices, ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
This is a multidisciplinary role & this individual will need the ability to interface with various functional teams, including Operations, MS&T, Process/Analytical Development, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Training, Engineering/Facilities, HS&E, and Finance.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP PP/QM solutions in relations to Process Manufacturing
- Design integration solutions with MES and LIMS systems and have an excellent knowledge of GMP Biopharma manufacturing processes
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Hands on Configuration of SAP PP/QM modules to meet business needs
- Work with Validation team to ensure proper change control is administered and documents are of GMP standards
- Manage SAP PP/QM implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, business process owners, IT teams, and external vendors
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of solutions within budget
- Responsible and accountable for system integrators delivery in PP/QM area, validate specs and solutions design
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices
- Lead initiatives to optimize manufacturing and quality management processes
- Leading end-to-end scripted UAT between SAP, MES, LIMS and Equipment Software
- Train and mentor end-users and junior team members on SAP PP/QM modules
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance user proficiency
- Manage and help business process owners on SOP writing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP PP/QM implementation and support
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP/QM modules and related business processes
- Multiple cycle experience in SAP implementations and integrations
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a must
- SAP PP/QM certification is preferred
- SAP S4 Hana experience in at least one full end to end implementation is preferred
- Experience in Process Industry preferably Pharma
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules, MES and LIMS systems is preferred
- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud Platform is preferred
- Experience with CALM a plus is preferred
