This HR Generalist provides support in various HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS administration, benefits administration, and policy administration as a few examples. This role will be a part of Blend’s Emerging Talent program that will provide great career opportunities to learn first hand what it takes to be in a fast paced organization and build your HR foundation.

How you'll contribute:

  • Addresses employee inquiries and provides guidance on HR policies
  • Facilitates new hire processes and onboarding in our Mexico City office
  • Maintains HR records and ensures compliance with policies
  • Assists in managing employee relations and counseling
  • Coordinates training programs and activities
  • Manages special projects like team office events, trainings, visitors, and new hires
  • Will assist with ensuring compliance with local and country posting requirements
  • Manages reports and recommends improvements based on data analysis
  • Processes referral bonus payment process, recruiting operation tasks and HR administrative tasks
  • Conducts staff exit interviews as needed and ensures surveys are completed by exiting team members

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple different internal clients
  • Demonstrates good judgment; approachable and professional; solid problem-solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated; well organized
