About This Role
We are looking for dedicated and motivated Sales Associates with strong inbound and outbound sales skills to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in converting leads/customers into long-term recurring customers. This role will serve as the first human point of contact for many of our customers so we are looking for someone who is excited to educate customers about Barkbus, and drive customers through the sales funnel. You'll be part of a dynamic and close-knit team working remotely from various locations, including the United States, Philippines, and South America.
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who loves dogs, and understands how much our customers love their dogs. You will have the opportunity to embody the friendly and professional voice of a high-growth pet services company while executing a strategic sales playbook.
Role & Responsibilities
Be highly responsive and consistently available during your assigned shifts, delivering a reliable and seamless customer experience.
Quickly respond to and manage inbound customer leads through calls, texts, and other channels, following Barkbus' proven inbound sales playbook.
Leverage your sales skills to understand each customer's unique needs and confidently communicate Barkbus' value proposition.
Build rapport with pet parents by personalizing each interaction, learning about their dog’s needs, grooming preferences, and scheduling requirements.
Coordinate and schedule appointments for our team of professional groomers, including handling any rescheduling or special requests with care.
Collaborate with the operations and dispatch teams to maximize groomer efficiency through smart scheduling and route optimization.
Manage day-to-day tasks using our in house CRM tool, Marathon (training will be provided).
Handle inbound calls and proactively make outbound calls to resolve scheduling issues and schedule new customers.
Accurately document lead details, call outcomes, preferences, and follow-up needs in our CRM system.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to continuously improve our operations, systems, and processes, making life easier for both customers and groomers.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience focused on inbound or outbound sales
Ability to balance high call volume per day (around a max of 100 calls a day)
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. (Spanish as a second language preferred)
Strong attention to detail and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
Proficiency in inbound and outbound sales, including the ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and get customers booked!
Ability to work independently and remotely, with a reliable internet connection and a well-functioning computer equipped with a suitable headset for phone and voice communication.
Being open to different work schedules. Success at Barkbus requires us to be flexible on the work schedule so that we can constantly adapt and meet the demands of our customer intake volume.

Compensation
Competitive Hourly Rate: $6-9 per hour, based on experience.
Annual bonus of $2,400, paid out monthly
