About the Job:
We are seeking a Junior Product Manager to join Whoosh. As a Junior Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our product roadmap, defining features and user requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative product experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, be well organized, and passionate about creating delightful product experiences in an exciting, fast paced startup environment.

OTE: $80,000 - $110,000

Whoosh (www.whoosh.io) is developing modern club operations software to help private clubs manage everything from the course to the clubhouse. We are a B2B vertical SaaS company backed by top-tier VC investors like Craft Ventures and 8VC and are focused on disrupting the golf, racquets, and club industry. Our software streamlines workflows, improves staff communication and enables better hospitality and member experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define features and user requirements based on product roadmap and strategic objectives.
- Translate user needs and business requirements into clear and actionable product specifications and user stories.
- Work effectively with the customer support team to triage bugs, gather insights, and prioritize product improvements based on user feedback and support tickets.
- Utilize customer feedback and data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for product enhancements.
- Work closely with the design team to create intuitive and delightful product experiences that meet user needs and exceed expectations.
- Provide input and feedback on design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes to ensure alignment with product vision and objectives.
- Work closely with engineers and developers to ensure timely and successful delivery of features and enhancements.
- Provide guidance, support, and direction to the development team throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) on features and enhancements before bringing them to market.
- Ensure that product releases meet quality standards, functional requirements, and user expectations.
- Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying new opportunities, evaluating feature requests, and prioritizing initiatives based on impact and strategic alignment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in project/product management, business analysis or related technical role in software development.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas, influence stakeholders, and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in agile development environments and proficiency with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Familiarity with conducting user acceptance testing and ensuring feature quality by documenting test cases and finding defects.
