Uncountable is seeking a scientific implementation manager with a breadth of scientific experience to bring into a career in business development. The scientific solutions role at Uncountable leverages your depth and breadth of scientific understanding to bring both the scientist and their science into the Uncountable ecosystem.
In this role you will (1) Assist in new business development (2) lead scientific implementation (3) restructure and contextualize customer data and (4) use real-world customer experience to drive product development so we can build the best possible data structuring tool for R&D. It is fast paced, project oriented, customer and engineering facing role. This position demands a sophisticated breadth of scientific knowledge, impeccable communication skills, and the ability to empathize both emotionally, scientifically, and organizationally with a variety of users spanning the R&D landscape.
Within 30 days you will take ownership of experimental understanding and ingestion of new sales leads and onboarded customers. You will work with both the customer success and sales team to faithfully configure experiments within the platform to the end-user.
Within 60 days you will begin to lead meetings and demos with existing and potential customers, running scientific due diligence, acquiring new data, and running through iterations of the platform configuration with the customer.
Within 90 days you will take ownership of the implementation process for a new and potential customer. You will lead demos, orchestrate meetings, set timelines, and advocate for new product development to meet the unique needs of our most exciting customers.
Salary: 90-120K Per Year, in addition to performance bonus and equity

Relevant Experience, Skills, and Preferences

  • Master's degree or 3+ years experience in some scientific field (chemistry, biology, materials science, chemical engineering, or related fields)
  • Affinity and familiarity working with data in Excel (Python or other coding skills a plus)
  • Comfort distilling and effectively communicating advanced technical concepts
