We are looking for a Customs Coordinator to help us process and obtain the IMMEX permit and VAT-IEPS certification in Juarez MX.
Responsible for planning and executing compliance and obligations of customs regulations, being focused on compliance with IMMEX and VAT Certification.
Responsibilities and Activities:
- Processing daily import and export invoices
- BOM updates in the inventory control system
- Responsible for inventory control in the Customs software
- Performing closings and consolidation of virtual customs declarations with the Customs Agent
- Coordinating with the Mexican Customs Agent to obtain Pedimentos and with the American Customs Agent to obtain the US Entry / Shipper.
- Generating import reports, inventories, and discharges from Annex 30
- Responsible for the control and registration of fixed assets
- Preparing, registering, and safeguarding notices and procedures submitted to SE and SAT for the IMMEX, Prosec, and VAT and IEPS certification programs.
- Organize the Physical and Electronic Files for Customs purposes (Customs files required)
- Coordinate with the AA the tariff classification of Products and Raw Materials
- Lead and attend audits in foreign trade matters
- Responsible for presenting the Annual Report of Foreign Trade Operations.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Degree in Foreign Trade or related career
- Extensive knowledge of IMMEX, VAT-IEPS, C-TPAT, Prosec, Eighth Rule, VUCEM
- Handle Customs System (Annexes 22, 24 and 30) and Data Stage
- Coordination and communication skills internally and with the Corporate
- Proactive, organized and self-directed.
