The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.
Responsibilities
- Measure sites using surveying instruments to have a graphic presentation with exact coordinates of the site features.
- Analyze and evaluate surveying control proposals.
- Coordinate with job superintendents, TBM operators, engineers, project management.
- Communicate with team and keep records of on-site surveys and monitoring.
- Implement survey data w/ the TBM guidance system.
- Perform tunnel, job site, and alignment surveys.
- Prepare exhibits and survey report
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of surveying experience.
- Professional Licensed Surveyor (PLS) certification in Nevada
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Tunnel surveying experience.
- Experience working with TBM guidance systems.
