Telegraph is a B2B SaaS company disrupting the underdigitized freight railroad segment of the supply chain. Our product is the first-ever cloud-based operating system for the rail ecosystem. On any given day, 40% of all goods in North America are moved on a freight train. A little bit about the role…

We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to support Telegraph’s go-to-market efforts by optimizing our sales processes. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and experience for our prospects, from lead generation to deal closure.

As our FIRST EVER Sales Operations Manager with clear ownership of deal flow, structure, and content creation. This position will streamline sales methods to help Telegraph consistently acquire, manage, and close opportunities to deliver its solutions to a breadth of customers. As our Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Optimizing and implementing sales processes, from lead generation to contract renewal, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating across the GtM team to understand their needs and challenges, providing operational support to enhance their performance.
  • Utilizing data analysis to provide insights into sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
  • Designing sales collateral, drafting proposals, and managing documentation and agreement administration.

Job Responsibilities

    To be successful at Telegraph, you must bring…
    • Depth of Experience: 6+ years of business development, negotiation, pricing, and content creation experience.
    • Collateral: Demonstrable ability to independently develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals for enterprise clients with precision and ease.
    • Systems: Experience with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and document management procedures.
    • Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and commercial strategy.
    • Owner Mentality: Get in the minds of the customer and serve as the go-to accountability partner to program manage the sales process.
    • Bonus points!: Experience working in SaaS, supply chain and/or mobility technologies modernizing the way goods and people are transported.
