At Sirona Medical we’re building tools for physicians to work as fast as they can think. Many billions of patient images are acquired each year in the U.S., and nearly all of them are reviewed and diagnosed by a radiologist. In fact, 80% of healthcare data flows through radiology IT systems, and radiologists are among healthcare’s most tech-savvy and influential physicians. But they desperately need better, user-friendly software that cuts clicks and optimizes diagnostic time. Sirona is building a modern cloud-native and AI-powered operating system (“RadOS”) that unifies radiology IT onto a single, streamlined workspace. We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Head of Marketing to spearhead our marketing efforts in the fast-paced and innovative field of medical imaging. As a key member of our small and scrappy startup team, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute our marketing strategies from the ground up. This role requires a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a lean and agile startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative and cost-effective marketing strategies to establish our brand presence, drive customer acquisition, and accelerate revenue growth within the medical imaging industry.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market gaps, customer needs, and emerging trends, and use these insights to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with the product development team to understand our cutting edge cloud based solutions and their unique value proposition, and translate this knowledge into compelling marketing messages and materials.
  • Build and manage integrated marketing campaigns with a focus on digital channels, such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, and search engine optimization, to maximize reach and engagement on a limited budget.
  • Create engaging and persuasive marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, case studies, videos, and social media content, to effectively communicate the benefits and differentiation of our products.
  • Utilize growth hacking techniques and innovative marketing tactics to generate qualified leads, nurture prospects, and convert them into paying customers.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize marketing initiatives, improve conversion rates, and maximize return on investment.
  • Leverage partnerships and collaborations with industry influencers, medical professionals, and relevant organizations to expand our reach and enhance brand credibility in the medical imaging space.
  • Take ownership of the marketing budget, prioritize resources, and seek out cost-effective marketing opportunities that align with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in medical imaging and digital marketing, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing roles within the medical imaging or healthcare industry.
  • Startup or entrepreneurial experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the medical imaging landscape, including key players, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
  • Proficient in digital marketing channels and tools, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create compelling content and effectively articulate complex concepts to different audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret marketing metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and adaptable to fast-paced and evolving startup environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

The annual US base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 - $190,000 + equity + benefits. Pay scale is flexible depending on experience. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, relevant education and training.
