About the role

Rocketlane is building a dedicated Demo Engineering function - and this is the founding role. As a Demo Engineer, you own the demo infrastructure that powers how Rocketlane shows up in every prospect conversation. You're not just supporting a sales process; you're engineering the product experience that makes or breaks a deal.

What you'll build and own

  • A library of demo environments across segments, personas, and use cases - always clean, always current, always deal-ready

  • POC environments for enterprise and mid-market evaluations, configured to mirror real customer scenarios

  • Nitro (AI agent) demo flows - you'll be the first person to productize how Rocketlane's AI capabilities are shown to the market

  • Segment-specific variants (e.g. IT services vs. SaaS implementation teams) so every demo feels purpose-built

  • A documentation system for demo configs, data scripts, and setup guides - so the infrastructure scales beyond you

  • A feedback loop back to product - you'll be closest to where the product meets the prospect, and that signal matters

What you bring

  • Strong grasp of data, logic, and how software systems work

  • Comfortable writing lightweight scripts or code (Python, JS, etc.)

  • Detail-oriented - you notice when something looks off and you fix it

  • Ramps quickly on new products and can map features to real-world use cases instinctively

  • 0–1 year of experience in a dev, QA, implementation, or similar technical role; strong fresh grads/interns welcome

  • Bonus: exposure to PSA, PM tools, or platforms like Salesforce, Jira, or similar

How you'll grow

This is a new function at Rocketlane - which means you're not walking into a defined box. You'll have direct visibility with the SE lead, product, and engineering. As Rocketlane scales, so does this function - Demo Ops, Technical Enablement, or Solutions Engineering are all natural next chapters. And given you'll be building Nitro's demo motion from the ground up, you'll have a front-row seat to how an AI product goes to market.

You'll thrive here if you're

A builder who takes ownership seriously. You see a broken demo environment as your problem to fix, not someone else's to report. You're curious about AI, care about craft, and want to build something that didn't exist before.
