Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Wish.com, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem-solver and successful in combining technology and data into best-in-class outcomes. The candidate is energized by solving complex business problems and consistently effective in making high-judgment decisions at rapid pace amidst the frequent ambiguity that comes with charting a course of action with no precedent. Moreover, the ideal candidate is energized by an environment where strategy, innovation and decision-making are intentionally distributed, where candor, speed and data are highly valued and colleagues at all levels hold each other to unusually high standards on behalf of Quince customers.
Partner Excellence Director - Americas will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain and Sourcing. At the core, this role is about delighting consumers and driving profitable growth by building and scaling our Americas source base across Apparel, Home and Jewelry categories.
Quince has proven the consumer value proposition in multiple categories (e.g. Cashmere, Jewelry and Bedding, among others) and has built a loyal, repeat consumer base. We want to build on that value proposition by both expanding assortment and driving excellence in operating our M2C supply chain model with our partners across an array of apparel categories and jewelry.
At Quince, we believe that our Manufacturing Partners are critical members of the Quince team and we take a partnership approach that involves:
* Scouting - Identifying and building relationships with high-quality partners that want to run Quince's innovative model;
* Drafting - Helping potential partners understand Quince's model and ensuring that the supply chain economics support radical pricing for our consumers while maintaining Quince's expectations on Quality and Ethics;
* Training Camp - Training our partners in the Quince offense, setting mutual goals and readying them to run the Quince offense;
* Game Day - Executing the Manufacturer to Consumer (M2C) Quince model of rapid replenishment to ensure availability of high-quality products to consumers while managing inventory and cash flows;
* Post-Season - Reviewing performance with our partners and continuing to improve on the M2C model.
