Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Wish.com, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem-solver and successful in combining technology and data into best-in-class outcomes. The candidate is energized by solving complex business problems and consistently effective in making high-judgement decisions at rapid pace amidst the frequent ambiguity that comes with charting a course of action with no precedent. Moreover, the ideal candidate is energized by an environment where strategy, innovation and decision-making are intentionally distributed, where candor, speed and data are highly valued and colleagues at all levels hold each other to unusually high standards on behalf of Quince customers.
You will be responsible for project managing all orders within the B2B business while strategizing the expansion of our operations as the B2B business scales 5-6x year over year. You will report to the US-based Director of Business to Business and will work cross-functionally with our US-based sales team and our Global Sourcing Lead and Logistics team. Must be based in Hong Kong or Shenzhen.
Responsibilities
- Manage operations tracking for all B2B orders to ensure that projects are completed on time with excellent quality. Develop a system for tracking operations as the business scales.
- Manage both an in-house customization team and a network of 3rd party customization partners. Develop a system of triaging orders to various partners as determined by business needs.
- Coordinate value-added services at or near the factory as needed.
- Oversee shipments going to multiple recipients and countries.
- Relentlessly find areas of process improvement, and work cross-functionally with the business operations team in the US to optimize procedures.
- Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with few policies and procedures. Must have a high accountability and willingness to learn and problem-solve. Must be excited about being a part of a startup and building something new.
- Understands excellent quality and customer service.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and operate with a sense of urgency.
