Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Wish.com, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem-solver and successful in combining technology and data into best-in-class outcomes. The candidate is energized by solving complex business problems and consistently effective in making high-judgement decisions at rapid pace amidst the frequent ambiguity that comes with charting a course of action with no precedent. Moreover, the ideal candidate is energized by an environment where strategy, innovation and decision-making are intentionally distributed, where candor, speed and data are highly valued and colleagues at all levels hold each other to unusually high standards on behalf of Quince customers.
As an Operations Junior Associate, you will be responsible for project managing business-to-business post-sales operations in support of Quince’s B2B business. You will report to the US-based Director of Business to Business and will work cross-functionally with our US-based sales team and our Global Sourcing Lead and Logistics team.
>Assist US-based sales team with product mockups as needed. Using logos provided by the sales team, create mockups of branded Quince products for clients. Proficient in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
>Communicate between inventory warehouses in Hong Kong and value-added-service workshops in Hong Kong.
>Make sure all projects are completed on time or ahead of time. After order creation by sales team, inform value-added-service workshops of incoming orders including custom packaging requirements, private labeling, embroidery/screen print design specifics, and completion date.
>Determine allocation of order to the correct workshop depending on order requirement.
>Liaise with inventory and logistics warehouses in Hong Kong when customization is complete and ready for pickup and shipping.
>Work with the packaging team to create and price custom branded packaging as needed.
>Work with our vendor partners to create custom purchase orders (POs) at the factory level as needed.
>Liaise directly with the factory to provide order specifics including customization.
>Negotiate the best product cost of goods sold. Coordinate value-added services at or near the factory.
>Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with few policies and procedures.
>Finds opportunities for improvement in quality, processes, procedures.
>Can source workshops for value added services in Hong Kong as we exceed capacity with current partners.
>Must be extremely detail-oriented and operate with a sense of urgency.
>Customer service oriented and quality obsessed.
