Position Overview: We are seeking a customer development and execution focused technology salesperson to initiate and expand revenue development in industrial and humanoid robot market segments. This business development position will be responsible for driving initial and enterprise-wide revenue generation, including direct and channel sales, and strategic territory development. The position reports to the Head of Sales and Support.
As Enterprise BD Manager, you will take a direct and hands-on approach to scaling our revenue and building the commercial wins to support our business goals. You will drive sales in a territory and assist in establishing strategic partnerships with manufacturing, transportation and logistics, industrial automation, and robotics companies, while positioning PSYONIC as the category leader in accessible bionic end-effector technology solutions for robotic applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory/Vertical Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive revenue growth strategies across hardware, software, and direct and indirect sales channels. Initiate contact and drive a sales process that differentiates PSYONIC's unique value proposition as the only bionic hand manufacturer that serves both robotics and human markets.
Robotics Enterprise Sales
Initiate and close enterprise level sales with manufacturing, transportation and logistics, material handling, industrial automation, automotive, aerospace, robotics companies, research institutions and other opportunities to design-in the Ability Hand in creative robotic system applications.
Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving robotics engineers, R&D teams, procurement, operations and executive leadership.
Grow strategic accounts including current end user partners, system integration partners and identify new high-value opportunities.
Present robotics-specific presentations, value propositions, ROI models, and technical sales materials created by PSYONIC and identify target company champions.
Create partnerships with robotics system integrators and distributors for the industrial and humanoid robotics market.
Collaboratively establish co-selling arrangements with complementary technology providers.
Build relationships with research institutions and universities developing next-generation robotics.
Sales Organization Building & Leadership
Develop and maintain a clean pipeline for large-volume orders as industrial and humanoid robotics markets scale.
Build, manage, and scale a sales territory and engage with internal PSYONIC collaborators including inside sales, operations, marketing, R&D/Engineering and Corporate Leadership Team.
Work and collaborate with a PSYONIC Field Sales Engineer to drive and negotiate pilots, integration activities, technical ROI, and contract closure.
Maintain a clean forecast within Hubspot environment.
Provide “voice of the customer” feedback to Sales and Support leader, Marketing and Product Development.
Meet and exceed forecast and other metrics consistently as established by Head of Sales and Support.
Channel & Partnership Development
With Head of Sales and Support, build and manage a territorial network of distributors and channel partners for industrial and humanoid robotics sales.
Align with PSYONIC launch and market strategies for new products, features, and market expansions.
Represent PSYONIC at conferences, robotics trade shows (e.g. ICRA, IROS, Humanoids Summit), and customer events.
Qualifications:
Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in sales revenue production in a high growth technology company, meeting and exceeding quotas, and scaling a territory and enterprise level opportunities.
Experience selling in at least one of the following industries: industrials, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, or robotics / automation technology.
Success navigating and managing complex, multi-month sales cycles with diverse stakeholder groups.
History of building partnerships and channel networks to accelerate market penetration.
Robotics & Technology Expertise (Strongly Preferred)
Understanding of the robotics and automation industry, particularly industrial robot arms, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), humanoid robots, manipulation, and dexterous systems.
Familiarity with robotics research institutions, emerging robotics companies, and industrial automation markets.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, manufacturing automation, and AI/ML applications in robotics.
Experience selling to engineering teams, R&D departments, and technical decision-makers.
Understanding of the development timeline and procurement cycles for robotics companies.
Operational Skills
Strong executive presence with ability to engage executives, integrators, and engineering/robotics leadership.
Experience managing pipeline and forecast in a CRM tool.
Strategic thinker focused on driving a sales process execution and balancing near-term execution with long-term territory/market development.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $120,000-$165,000 with an un-capped variable compensation program
