Head of Sales & Support

Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary Head of Sales & Support to lead our revenue expansion across two transformative markets: bionic hands for industrial and humanoid robots, and advanced prostheses for humans with limb differences. This executive leadership position will be responsible for driving all aspects of revenue generation, including direct and channel sales, and strategic market development.
As Head of Sales & Support, you will take a hands-on approach to scaling our revenue and building the commercial infrastructure to support our production goals. You will build and lead a global sales organization, establish strategic partnerships with manufacturing, transportation and logistics, industrial automation, and robotics companies, while positioning PSYONIC as the category leader in accessible bionic technology solutions for both robotic and human applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Go-To-Market Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive revenue growth strategies and all revenue targets across hardware, software, and direct and indirect sales channels. Create competitive positioning strategies that differentiate PSYONIC's unique value proposition as the only bionic hand manufacturer that serves both robotics and human markets.
Robotics Enterprise Sales
Lead enterprise sales efforts with manufacturing, transportation and logistics, industrial automation, and robotics companies, and research institutions.
Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving robotics engineers, R&D teams, procurement, and executive leadership.
Grow strategic accounts including current end user partners (NASA, Meta, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Google, etc.) and system integration partners and identify new high-value opportunities.
Develop robotics-specific value propositions, ROI models, and technical sales materials.
Create partnerships with robotics system integrators and distributors for the industrial and humanoid robotics market.
Establish co-selling arrangements with complementary technology providers.
Build relationships with research institutions and universities developing next-generation robotics.
Sales Organization Building & Leadership
Build pipeline for large-volume orders as industrial and humanoid robotics market scales
Build, manage, and scale a high-performing sales organization including, enterprise account executives, and inside sales teams
Recruit and develop top sales talent
Implement best-in-class sales processes, playbooks, CRM systems, and forecasting methodologies
Align sales, marketing, product, and customer success functions around unified revenue objectives
Establish performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across the revenue organization
Channel & Partnership Development
Build and manage a network of prosthetic clinics and distributors as channel partners for prosthetic sales
Develop relationships with military and Veterans Affairs healthcare systems for veteran amputees
Lead launch strategies for new products, features, and market expansions
Represent PSYONIC at medical conferences (e.g. AOPA, AAOP, Amputee Coalition), robotics trade shows (e.g. ICRA, IROS, Humanoids Summit), and customer events
Qualifications:
Experience
12+ years of progressive experience in revenue leadership roles with demonstrated success scaling companies from early stage to significant growth
Experience selling in at least one of the following industries: industrials, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, or robotics / automation technology.
Proven track record of building revenue organizations that consistently exceed targets during high-growth phases
Success managing complex, multi-month sales cycles with diverse stakeholder groups
History of building partnerships and channel networks to accelerate market penetration
Robotics & Technology Expertise (Strongly Preferred)
Understanding of the robotics and automation industry, particularly industrial robot arms, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), humanoid robots, manipulation, and dexterous systems
Familiarity with robotics research institutions, emerging robotics companies, and industrial automation markets
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, manufacturing automation, and AI/ML applications in robotics
Experience selling to engineering teams, R&D departments, and technical decision-makers
Understanding of the development timeline and procurement cycles for robotics companies
Leadership & Operational Skills
Strong executive presence with ability to engage executives, integrators, and engineering/robotics leadership
Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams in fast-paced environments
Experience implementing revenue operations infrastructure including CRM, sales enablement, and analytics tools
Strategic thinker who can balance near-term execution with long-term market development
