Position Overview

We are looking for a highly empathetic and strategic PSAP Ambassador to join our team. This crucial role involves transitioning public sector expertise into the private sector, focusing on lead generation and relationship building within the PSAP (Public Safety Answering Points) market. If you are driven by the desire to improve public safety through advanced technology and have a strong network and experience in the PSAP industry, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • PSAP Leadership: Utilize your experience from leadership in a PSAP (or extensive knowledge communicating with PSAP leadership) to guide our strategy and engagement with public safety agencies.
  • Lead Generation: Deliver at least 10 qualified leads per month, focusing on expanding our reach into new agencies where we do not yet have a network.
  • Industry Expertise: Leverage strong PSAP experience to provide insights and develop relationships within the industry.
  • Network Expansion: Tap into existing networks and build new connections to sustain lead generation beyond initial contacts.
  • Travel: Represent Prepared at industry events such as APCO and NENA, and accompany Account Executives on in-person visits to generate leads. Travel is expected to be less than 50%.
  • Regional Focus: Ideally based in or near one of the open regions (Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, or Southwest).
  • Team Collaboration: Work in a goal-driven environment with a structure of 1 PSAP Ambassador supporting 2 Strategic Account Executives and 2 Account Executives.

About You

  • Experience: Significant experience as leader in a PSAP or knowledge of industry. By adapting your extensive PSAP experience and leveraging your network, you will play a pivotal role in advancing public safety technology and making a tangible difference in emergency response.
  • Network: Established credibility and a robust network within the PSAP industry.
  • Empathy: Strong empathetic skills, essential for transitioning clients from the public sector to private sector solutions.
  • Proactive: Self-motivated and proactive in generating leads and building new industry connections.
  • Collaborative: Able to work effectively within a team, supporting account executives and collaborating on strategies.

Pay Transparency

The base compensation for this role is approximately $80,000-$95,000 per year, excluding bonus targets and incentive plans. You are also eligible for employee benefits, company equity grants, participation in Prepared’s unlimited vacation program, and free membership to One Medical.
