What You’ll Do - Function:
• Develop code for a system comprising robust microservices using node.js & a modern React UI to serve over 100k daily users across hundreds of customer communities
• Contribute to a team that owns the end product lifecycle including collaboration with Product, Design and other customer success stakeholders
• Contribute to OpenGov’s Engineering culture of innovation, leading-edge technology adoption and quality
• Deliver iterative improvements with performant code to realize the product vision and roadmap plans
• Be a key contributor to a continuously improving team, always looking for better ways to collaborate and deliver, while elevating the technical innovation and excellence standards
What You Bring - Experience:
• Familiarity with modern Javascript frameworks e.g Angular, React, Ember
• Familiarity with backend frameworks and databases
• BA/BS in a computer-science related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience working on a team solving complex problems together under deadlines
What You Have - Skill:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required
• Intrinsic motivation and high degree of accountability to deliver and thrive in a fast paced environment
• Ability to solve complex problems and provide optimal solutions in a collaborative culture
• Strong orientation towards delivering results incrementally
