Thanks for your interest in Oklo! We are searching for a Electromechanical Engineer to join our team. Position Description:Electromechanical engineers at Oklo are responsible for the design and implementation of electromechanical equipment used throughout Oklo's facilities. Specific responsibilities may include:Responsibilities will differ depending on your background:
  • Developing and maintaining specifications for electromechanical equipment
  • Design and selection of electromechanical equipment
  • Simulation and analysis of electromechanical equipment
  • Integration of electromechanical equipment with industrial processes and control systems
  • Documenting work using modern tools and techniques, and writing well-written, thoughtful technical reports
Competencies:We are looking for a Electromechanical Engineer Engineer that is:
  • Educated and experienced: mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineer
  • Proficient designing and analyzing industrial electromechanical equipment
  • Proficient aggregating component requirements from multiple stakeholders
  • Experience integrating electromechanical equipment into industrial process control equipment
  • Experience controlling actuators with industrial control systems
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with vendors
  • Passionate about clean energy
  • Passionate about making advanced fission a reality
  • Willing and able to learn quickly
  • Eager to work on a dynamic team, receive constructive feedback, and grow with us
  • Willing to think differently and do things in new ways
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly iterative startup environment
