Role Description

Nile Secure is seeking a seasoned and visionary Head of Solutions Architects (Pre-Sales) to lead and scale our global pre-sales Solutions Architecture function. This role will be responsible for setting technical strategy, managing and mentoring a team of Solutions Architects, and partnering closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Services to drive revenue growth and customer success.

As the Head of Solutions Architect, you will serve as the senior technical authority in the pre-sales organization, ensuring consistent, high-quality solution design and delivery while evangelizing Nile’s AI-driven Network as a Service (NaaS) platform to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. All Solutions Architects will report into this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Pre-Sales Solutions Architects.
  • Establish best practices, standards, and repeatable processes for pre-sales solution design, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) activities.
  • Provide technical coaching, career development, and performance management for the Solutions Architecture team.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex or strategic customer engagements.
  • Pre-Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Partner with Sales leadership to align pre-sales strategy with revenue goals, account plans, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent and compelling technical messaging across all customer and partner engagements.
  • Drive technical win strategies for large, complex, and strategic deals.
  • Support executive-level customer discussions as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Solution Architecture & Design Oversight
  • Oversee the design of innovative Network as a Service (NaaS) and network security solutions that address customer business and technical challenges.
  • Ensure solutions align with Nile Secure’s product roadmap, architectural principles, and service delivery capabilities.
  • Review and validate solution designs, proposals, and architectures for accuracy, scalability, and feasibility.
  • Technical Evangelism & Thought Leadership
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Nile Secure’s AI-driven networking, zero trust security, and automation capabilities.
  • Evangelize Nile’s technology vision to customers, partners, and internal teams through presentations, workshops, and industry events.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in networking, security, AI/automation, and the NaaS landscape to influence strategy and customer conversations.
  • Customer Engagement & Solution Validation
  • Engage directly with customers during pre-sales meetings, workshops, and executive briefings.
  • Oversee and, when necessary, participate in POCs and demonstrations to validate solution effectiveness.
  • Incorporate customer and field feedback to continuously improve pre-sales methodologies and solution offerings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Service Delivery, and Customer Success to ensure alignment between pre-sales commitments and post-sales execution.
  • Provide structured feedback from the field to influence product roadmap, feature prioritization, and service enhancements.
  • Collaborate with partners to support joint solutions and go-to-market initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in IP networking, network security, solution architecture, and/or pre-sales engineering roles.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling pre-sales or Solutions Architecture teams.
  • Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to support and close complex enterprise deals.
  • Deep expertise in networking, network security, and enterprise architectures; strong understanding of NaaS and cloud-delivered networking models.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and evangelize the value of AI-driven networking, Network as a Service, and zero trust security solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive-level interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, JNCIE, or equivalent are a plus.
