Job Summary
Direct and manage site security, Life Safety, and designated EHS programs to ensure compliance with corporate policies, standards, and site-specific requirements. Recommend compliance solutions to management, represent the site in organization-wide projects and meetings, analyze data trends to identify root causes and improvements.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee life safety programs and ensure proper documentation practices.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for security, safety, and regulatory audits.
- Lead and communicate team priorities, ensuring staffing coverage and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate team meetings, coordinate support activities, and review SOPs.
- Monitor key performance indicators, compliance, and employee training.
- Close out deviations, CAPAs, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and provide mentorship to the team.
- Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot issues, and handle security process confirmations.
- Oversee budget, performance reviews, and hiring decisions.
- Provide 24/7 "on-call" support and represent the site in organizational projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading others in a regulated or cGMP environment
- Extensive experience in Security
- Strong communication and strategic skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline
- Prior project management experience.
- Prior experience in Facilities & Engineering/EHS/Security
This position may also include the following conditions:
Key Relationships Internal:
- Works closely with Operations and Laboratories: Production Managers and Supervisors on environmental communications and accident investigation support
- Main point of contact regarding environmental concerns for Functional Area EHS Specialists and emergency response personnel (ERCs and Emergency Response Team Members)
- Act as Commercial Team Point of Contact for tracking client waste and sustainability initiatives.
Key Relationships External:
- Serve as one of the site trainers for Safety, Health and Environment for the facility.
- Direct site waste handling program, including four to six contractors collecting hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.
- Ability to interface with customers, suppliers, and regulatory officials for auditing and visits.

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $105,000.00 - $146,250.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
