Brief Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the day shift warehouse operations as a hands-on leader, serving and motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering a positive team-building atmosphere. The candidate will supervise and continuously improve all inbound, outbound, and internal inventory movement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control.
  • Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
  • Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
  • Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
  • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
  • Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
  • Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
  • Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
  • Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
  • Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures.
  • Manage the performance of others, including performance/merit reviews, professional development, and disciplinary action.
  • Review and approve OCMs, change controls, and document revisions.
  • Approve new and updated SOPs.
  • Lead team meetings to discuss progress, initiatives, and/or other matters.
  • Read, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, lock outs and so on.
  • Identify and resolve complex supply chain issues.
  • Manage team's priorities, goals, and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
  • Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of GMP Requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting
  • Experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
  • Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with SAP.

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
