About The Role

Your role at Metaphysic will be to lead data acquisition and organization. You will supervise the data team day to day and be responsible for guiding the dev team in building the technology stack that is required to support and optimize the team. As part of this role, you will be collaborating heavily with our AI and Development teams to generate industry-leading synthetic media. This creative collaboration and innovation is core to Metaphysics' overarching goal of creating the most advanced synthetic media available. A thorough understanding of the synthetic media landscape and machine learning concepts, in general, is essential.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience gathering and organizing datasets for ML training
  • Strong organization skills
  • Solid leadership skills
  • Experience working with ML Engineers and developers
  • Experience with hardware stacks that support big data
  • Python or other scripting skills
  • Competence with unix-based systems
  • A good eye for detail and visual quality is a plus
  • Knowledge of NUKE or other composting software is a plus.
