As a Senior Engineering Manager, youll lead and grow a high-performing engineering team. Youll balance people leadership, technical direction, and delivery management ensuring your team builds robust, scalable systems aligned with business goals.

What Youll Do

People Leadership

• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers across different levels.
• Run effective 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, trust, and high performance.

Delivery & Execution

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and execution oversight.
• Partner closely with Product and Design to align priorities and goals.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical direction and support architectural decisions (without daily coding).
• Ensure best practices in testing, scalability, observability, and security.
• Mentor senior engineers and champion engineering excellence.

Strategy & Alignment

• Translate business goals into actionable engineering roadmaps.
• Balance short-term execution with long-term sustainability.
• Participate in strategic planning and represent engineering in leadership forums.

What Were Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in management or tech lead roles.
• Proven experience leading teams of 515 engineers.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, CI/CD, and scalable systems.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or other high-scale environments is a plus.
• Fluency in English (Spanish and/or Portuguese is a strong plus).
