Our client is a fast-growing fintech redefining access to financial solutions for small and medium businesses across Latin America. They build the financial infrastructure that allows SMBs to grow without friction combining data, technology, and deep credit expertise.

They are looking for a Credit Risk Lead to drive credit decisioning and optimize portfolio performance. This person will design predictive models, strengthen credit policy, and influence strategic risk decisions across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and risk drivers.
• Develop and enhance machine learning models to assess and mitigate credit risk.
• Collaborate with finance and risk teams to monitor portfolio health and forecast future risk.
• Lead experimentation and A/B testing to evaluate the impact of new features and policies.
• Build clear dashboards and reports to communicate insights to leadership.
• Identify process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Strong experience developing and implementing ML models for risk or credit analysis.
• Advanced skills in Python or R, and SQL for large-scale data manipulation.
• Expertise in statistics, data interpretation, and A/B testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in dynamic environments.

Preferred:

• Background in lending, fintech, or credit risk management frameworks.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
