The Role: Strategic Partnerships Manager

Were looking for a strategic, commercially driven operator to join the Strategic Partnerships team the engine for partner acquisition and long-term growth across Spanish-speaking South America.

As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, youll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing high-potential partners, owning the full journey from first outreach to signed agreement. Youll also support early-stage partnership development post-signature driving execution, alignment, and growth opportunities.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, business development, and enterprise sales, ideal for someone who combines analytical rigor, relationship fluency, and a builders mindset. Youll collaborate closely with Product, Risk, Finance, and Data teams, and engage directly with executive leadership at some of Latin Americas most exciting tech platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Partner Strategy & Origination: Lead the partner acquisition strategy across Chile, Colombia, and Peru by identifying high-potential targets, conducting TAM analysis, and aligning internally before moving to close.
  • Sales Execution & Relationship Building: Manage the full sales cycle from first outreach to signed agreement, building and maintaining executive-level relationships through regular meetings, strong follow-ups, and in-person engagement.
  • Market Visibility & Industry Representation: Represent the company at top fintech and industry events across the region, building a strong network and identifying new partnership opportunities ahead of the market.
  • Post-LOI Relationship Ownership: Act as a strategic partner to newly signed accounts, leading key touchpoints, ensuring alignment on goals, and advocating internally for long-term success.
  • Business Reviews & Expansion: Support quarterly partnership reviews and identify new opportunities for product, segment, or geographic expansion to deepen engagement and unlock additional growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of top-performance experience in strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, business development, consulting, investment banking, or VC/PE ideally within fintech or technology in Latin America.
  • Experience working at a high-growth tech company in LatAm (fintech or payments experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to build and manage executive-level relationships and influence high-stakes decisions across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of unit economics, financial modeling, and deal evaluation, with the ability to develop and present compelling business cases.
  • A builders mindset thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments and takes ownership end-to-end.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Based in Mexico City.
