About Us:
We’re a creative, entrepreneurial team based in Austin, TX focused on capturing authentic stories through video and digital content. From business spotlights and behind-the-scenes features to podcast clips and Reels, we create engaging media that connects with our audience and brings brands to life.

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a video editing intern to join our team in-office this summer to support the fast-paced production of short-form content, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks, and behind-the-scenes/day-in-the-life storytelling. You’ll also play a key role in repurposing our biweekly podcast into high-impact social media clips and short videos that drive engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form vertical videos for social platforms and create cohesive covers (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

• Assist in editing long-form podcast episodes for YouTube, including visual overlays and branding

• Clip and edit engaging podcast moments for short-form use (Reels/Shorts)

• Organize and select the best footage from shoots, including b-roll and behind-the-scenes content

• Add captions, transitions, music, and light graphics to enhance storytelling

• Maintain a consistent visual style and tone across content

• Assist with organizing media assets and post-production workflows

• Collaborate closely with producers, podcast team, and content creators

• Stay current with social media trends and editing styles that resonate with online audiences

Who You Are:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Film, Media, Communications, Marketing, or related field

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (experience with After Effects, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro is a plus)

• Passionate about storytelling through both video and audio formats

• Familiar with short-form content creation and podcast video clips (à la Diary of a CEO, Armchair Expert, etc.)

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple projects at once

• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and positive attitude

• Available to work in-person in Austin, TX throughout the summer

Bonus If You:

• Have edited or created social clips from long-form podcast episodes

• Are familiar with audio editing and syncing

• Have your own content portfolio showcasing Reels, Shorts, or podcast edits

• Know how to edit for retention and hook audiences in the first 3 seconds
