About the Role

We are looking to hire a fast-paced and detailed oriented BizOps Associate to join our Operations team and help us scale the people, process and systems behind Mainshares. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal & Operations, this teammate will play a crucial role in allowing us to add a zero to our current volume.

The ideal candidate has experience navigating ambiguous problems, developing strong relationships with teammates, and bringing order to chaos. You should be fine getting your hands dirty, while being ready to design more scalable solutions where it makes sense.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and sales colleagues to solve problems with people, process and systems

  • Partner with company leadership to drive visibility and collaboration across business units

  • Own strategic initiatives involving partnerships, resources, and other assets to serve SMB investors, operators and owners

  • Support client onboarding and customer success of our SMB investors and operators

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of professional experience at a high-growth startup, management consulting firm or investment bank

  • Outstanding execution abilities and a strong work ethic; you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

  • You’re able to spot issues, triage priorities, and execute a right-sized solution.

  • You are driven by mission and are more hardcore than most folks you’ve worked with.

  • Excellent project management capabilities, with a track record of successfully leading and running cross-functional projects.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience being client-facing.

  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Google suite; knowledge of SQL is a plus.

Nice-to-Have

  • Past exposure to fintech, marketplaces or SMB domains, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in serving this market

  • Strong quantitative skills, familiar with modeling, forecasting and modern dashboarding tools
