About the Role

We’re seeking a creative and versatile storyteller to join our team as an Associate, Operator Content. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind generating, executing, and distributing content that highlights the human stories and vibrant communities behind Small Business America. From podcasts to videos and written content, your work will bring to life the compelling narratives that showcase the impact of small businesses and Mainshares’ mission. You’ll report directly to the Head of Operator Network.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Operator Network to develop a strategic content roadmap that highlights the Operator Network Community and its success stories.

• Produce and deliver engaging content across various channels, including audio, visual, and written formats, aligned with our business objectives.

• Leverage social media strategies to drive engagement and stimulate interactions within the community.

• Work with contract content creators to enhance and support ongoing content projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in content creation and storytelling, with a proven track record in producing compelling content.

• Expertise in at least one content domain (audio, visual, or written) with the ability to adapt and learn others.

• Passionate about small businesses and committed to mission-driven work.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to execution and organization.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with the principles from "Buy Then Build."

• Previous experience in a startup environment with a knack for community building and thinking big while working small.

• A portfolio that showcases your ability to tell local stories with a focus on the human element and American values.
