Customer Service Representative (Home Services / Plumbing)

Mainshares is focused on strengthening America's small business economy. As part of our mission, we are currently hiring for one of our portfolio companies—a respected and growing plumbing and home services business in Austin, TX (Hyde Park). We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team as a direct employee.

Role Overview

This growing home services company is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who is comfortable with a fast-paced, phone-driven environment. This role is highly interactive and requires strong communication skills to manage all aspects of customer service and scheduling for a busy local business. If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoy being a vital part of a small, hands-on team, this is a great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call Management: Answer and manage a high volume of inbound service calls and customer inquiries.

  • Scheduling & Follow-Up: Make outbound calls to schedule, confirm, or follow up on service jobs.

  • Administrative Support: Support essential administrative functions, including processing warranties and rebate processing and assisting with various ad hoc tasks.

  • Data Entry: Track and organize information accurately using Excel and Google Workspace (G Suite).

  • System Use: Handle scheduling and updates using a service management platform (familiarity with ServiceTitan is a plus, but training will be provided).
