We‘re looking for an experienced Inventory planner to plan and optimize inventory by ensuring that all merchandising activities are well coordinated and executed as per timelines within all departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To bring visibility of inventory at every stage and channels that is ordered, in transit, warehouse etc
• To coordinate with buying, revenue and warehousing departments to make inventory live within agreed SLA
• DOC - How many days of stock in system against the plan
• Monitor stock movement - Timely escalation and coordination with teams for excess inventory
• Defining and publishing buying efficiency
• Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• 3+ years of experience in merchandising or inventory control in domestic retail
• As the role needs to coordinate with multiple departments, excellent interpersonal skills needed
• Strong at numbers and data analysis
• Good communication, presentation and decision making skills
• Preferred accounting/ consulting background
