Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager – Data Protection & Developer Experience

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Program Manager to lead transformative initiatives in Data Protection and Developer Experience programs. This role offers an exciting challenge to lead cross-functional teams, drive end-to-end programs, and shape the future of how developers securely and efficiently build products enhanced by AI innovation.

The ideal candidate is not only a strong technical program manager but also a natural leader who thrives in a collaborative environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with teams, has a "can-do" and always-willing-to-help attitude, and excels at turning complex problems into actionable, impactful outcomes.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will:

  • End-to-End Program Management: Own and drive programs from concept to completion, including requirement gathering, design reviews, planning, execution, testing, and product launch.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between engineering, product management, design, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across all phases of a program.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive program roadmaps and tracking mechanisms. Monitor progress, identify risks early, and drive action plans to mitigate them while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Data Protection & Developer Experience Focus: Lead initiatives in:
    • Enhancing Data Protection and implementing Data Leak Prevention (DLP) technologies across organizational workflows and products.
    • Improving Developer Experience by championing tools, processes, and (optionally) AI-driven methodologies to boost productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve program management practices to increase efficiency, predictability, and quality of deliverables.
  • Facilitation and Communication: Foster clear communication across teams, ensuring transparency and addressing roadblocks promptly.
  • Knowledge and Support: Act as a go-to mentor and resource for team members. Instill trust through your always-willing-to-help attitude and drive toward collective success.

What We're Looking For:

This role calls for a high-performing individual with a blend of technical expertise and exceptional soft skills. Additionally:

Soft Skills:

  • Outstanding communication skills, particularly in articulating complex ideas/concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proven history of fostering a highly collaborative environment, working across distributed teams while balancing priorities effectively.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving action forward.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with an ability to navigate diverse perspectives, bring people together, and shape group consensus.
  • Strong emphasis on an "always willing to help" attitude that exhibits servant-leadership and inspires others to perform their best.
  • Ownership and Accountability: A clear sense of ownership in driving outcomes, coupled with humility to learn and adapt when faced with challenges.

Hard Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end technical programs with large-scale impact in a product organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and align to product and program lifecycles, from requirements gathering to post-launch support.
  • Strong planning, scoping, resource management, and execution tracking skills.
  • A background or experience in Data Protection, including Data Leak Prevention programs, although not mandatory, is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with enabling Developer Experience, tools, and processes to improve developer productivity. Knowledge in applying AI technologies for team or individual efficiency is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in managing technical trade-offs while ensuring robust program delivery.
  • Solid understanding of technical systems and architectures; hands-on technical experience (e.g., in software development) is a significant plus.

Desired Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 7+ years of technical program management experience, preferably in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams and the ability to influence without formal authority.
