We are looking for our first commercial hire to build and lead our entire commercial function from the ground up. This is a "player-coach" role where you will initially be the player—the primary salesperson, strategist, and voice of the customer. You won't be inheriting a team or a playbook; you will be the one to create them.
Be the entire sales team. You will personally own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing our foundational customers.
Build on and extend the existing GTM-strategy. You'll partner directly with the founder to develop and execute our initial go-to-market strategy, defining our pricing, positioning, and target segments.
Create the sales playbook. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the first scalable sales processes, systems, and best practices for the company.
Be the voice of the customer. You'll collaborate closely with our product and engineering team to provide direct market feedback, ensuring our product roadmap is aligned with customer needs.
Lay the foundation for a team. While your initial focus is on execution, you will be responsible for creating the strategy to build and lead a high-velocity sales team over time.
We look for:
Proven track record selling into pharmas, biotechs and real world data companies, with a history of exceeding targets.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and growing sales teams.
Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; ability to orchestrate large-value transactions with C-level customer executives
