Founding Machine Learning Engineer (Senior or Staff level)

You can expect to:

• Architect, develop, and validate novel machine learning systems, including large language models, tailored for complex healthcare data use cases.

• Deploy ML pipelines into cloud environments to ensure scalability, low latency and performance

• Stay current with the latest advancements in ML applications to healthcare data

• Have the ability to work in person in Palo Alto, CA at least 4 days a week

We look for:

• 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning preferably involving healthcare data..

• Proficient in Python, and fluency with modern data science and ML/NLP libraries (PyTorch, HuggingFace, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of statistical and deep learning techniques and architectures.

• Proven experience working with machine learning systems and foundation models (e.g. large language models) and enterprise software products for machine learning and/or data science applications

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to independently tackle challenging problems

• Ideally has a track record of publications in top ML conferences/journals.

• Located in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate
