In this role, you will build and execute a multi-year partner enablement strategy to efficiently scale our partners' sales and technical capabilities, while also driving the strategic design and execution of our New Hire ramping programs specific to partner programs and sellers.Everyday you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop net-new outcome-based sales and technical curriculum, design global program capabilities, and cultivate successful relationships with internal stakeholders and our global partner community.To thrive in this role, you must bring eight years of revenue enablement experience, preferably in software or cloud vendor settings with a focus on partner enablement programs, possess strong strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving skills, and demonstrate the ability to lead and partner with cross-functional, virtual teams in complex decision-making situations.

About the team:

The Revenue Enablement team at Illumio is a strategic growth engine that engages the entire sales performance eco-system to ensure buyers are engaged at the right time and place, with the right assets, by well-trained client-facing staff. We do this through analysis and working across sales, marketing, and others to determine the best ways to change behavior with the right training, coaching, and tools & resources to ensure a high-performing team is fully equipped for success. Reporting to the Global Head of Revenue Enablement, the Partner Enablement Manager is responsible for supporting global partner enablement activities and programs for internal and external teams. As a key member of our Revenue Enablement team, you will also help to drive other field training, communications, and enablement activities as needed. The ideal candidate will be a senior level leader, with deep experience in technology sales, with demonstrable experience in channel partner enablement and coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will build and execute a multi-year partner enablement strategy to efficiently scale our partners' sales and technical capabilities, whileBuild and execute a multi-year partner enablement strategy, focusing on quickly and efficiently scaling our partners sales and technical capabilities

  • Create a persona-based journey by partner type, geo, and role to determine the optimal enablement strategy

  • Develop programs, processes, and capabilities to tap into authorized training centers or scale partners, extending Illumio’s reach

  • In partnership with cross-functional teams, lead the charge to develop net-new outcome-based sales and technical curriculum, getting hands on where appropriate to help accelerate efforts

  • Design, build, and operationalize global program capabilities, frameworks, and metrics, such as partner readiness, internal capacity, partner lifecycle, and ROI

  • Orchestrate global efforts to deploy internal and external partner enablement capabilities, collateral, coursework, and in-person sessions

  • Cultivate successful and trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and our global partner community to solicit feedback on existing programs/processes, working to continuously drive operational efficiencies

  • Continuously advocate for our alliance partners, ensuring ongoing alignment with broader Illumio initiatives

  • Define and analyze metrics, objectives, key results, and productivity gains that inform the success of enablement programs and activities

  • Help to manage the strategic design and execution of our New Hire ramping programs specific to partner programs and sellers

  • Support the global Revenue Enablement team and assist with other projects as necessary(ex: Sales Kick Off, accreditation programs, etc.)

Experience:

  • Eight years of revenue enablement experience with a large amount of that time building and managing partner enablement programs for a software or cloud vendor (CyberSecurity is a plus)

  • An excellent Strategic Thinker with proven ability to link project strategies to business objectives and drive desired business outcomes backed by a personal accountability and commitment to success.

  • Track record of successfully managing multiple projects at once successfully

  • Emotional intelligence to navigate ambiguity, take initiative and work collaboratively to deliver insights, provide solutions to challenges and recommendations based on analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to influence, guide, and work with diverse groups to achieve joint objectives

  • Pro-active and driven to solve problems and find innovative solutions

  • A profound sense of ownership and accountability is required

  • Strong acumen about new technologies and commercial acumen in the software industry with the ability to forge and maintain relationships

Pay Range:

$150,000 USD - $180,000 USD

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
