Business Development Manager - Aerospace and Defence

What will you be doing? 🤔

  1. Opportunity Identification: Using market research and industry analysis to uncover new business opportunities.
  2. Relationship Management: Building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders like customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
  3. Deal Negotiation: Leading the negotiation process and securing favorable agreements for the company.
  4. Revenue Generation: Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities while also growing existing accounts.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with teams across marketing, product development, and operations for seamless implementation.
  6. Market and Competitive Analysis: Regular analysis to stay ahead of market trends and competition.
  7. Industry Insights: Staying updated on emerging trends and technologies for innovative solutions.

What do we need from you? 💪

The qualifications highlight a strong background in B2B sales and business development within the Aerospace and Defence sectors. Here's what's required:

  • Industry Experience: At least 3 years in the B2B Aerospace and Defence sectors, with specific knowledge of advanced composites manufacturing.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a similar field.
  • Business Development Expertise: A strong grasp of strategies and techniques for revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for negotiation and relationship-building.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to use data and trends for decision-making.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking sales and development activities.
  • Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel for business-related activities.
