IT Support Technician

What will you be doing? 🤔

  • Tier 1 and Tier 2 Support to resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, network, and other IT systems.
  • Log, track, and document all incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication with end-users.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and applications.
  • Create, modify, and manage user accounts, access permissions, and mailboxes in Active Directory and other systems.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
    Set up and deploy new hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
    Perform regular maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and antivirus scans.
  • Develop and update documentation, including FAQs, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with users.
  • Assist in training users on new technologies and systems.

What do we need from you? 💪

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a service desk environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT tools and technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across the organization.
  • Previous experience in a corporate IT environment
  • ITIL Foundation certification or familiarity with ITIL best practices.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, VPN, remote desktop tools, and cloud services such as Office 365.
