Summary

This role will be hired as either an Epic Radiant Analyst or Senior Epic Radiant Analyst, depending on candidate qualifications.

Current Epic Radiant certification required

As an Epic Radiant Analyst at Hummingbird, you will be responsible for providing managed services application support to clients, using your expertise in system configuration, workflow design, and application analysis. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to refine processes, address needs, and contribute to the development of best practices. You will work alongside senior team members, leveraging their guidance as you continue to grow your skillset and proficiency within the role.

As a Senior Epic Radiant Analyst at Hummingbird, you will provide managed services application support, leveraging your advanced expertise in system configuration, workflow design, and application analysis. You will engage directly with clients to resolve complex issues, refine processes, and identify opportunities for improvement. Additionally, you will mentor less experienced team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the continued excellence of our service delivery.

Responsibilities

Compensation:
  • Analyst starting $78,000+ per year, based on experience.
  • Sr Analyst starting at $96,000+ per year, based on experience.

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Travel: 4-5 trips per year for client visits, training, and company events.

Working Hours: Pacific Time

Work Location: This position is remote. You must work from a location within the United States with consistent internet service.

On Call: Required to participate in the on-call rotation with an estimated 8 weeks on-call per year.

System Analysis:

  • Analyze workflows, data, and technical issues to identify options and recommend solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

  • Perform thorough workflow and requirement analysis, including process mapping and specification gathering, for routine and moderately complex issues and enhancements.

  • Translate requirements into system configurations, actively participating in building, testing, documenting, and communicating changes.

  • Support system enhancements and upgrades.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.

  • Adhere to change control processes, maintaining system integrity and compliance.

User Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Deliver high-quality application support in accordance with contracted SLAs.

  • Grow your ability to deliver application optimizations with guidance from senior analysts and management.

  • Assist with routine maintenance and upgrade tasks.

  • Take a proactive approach in asking questions to understand end-user issues and needs.

  • Seek information from others and escalate when end user issues appear to pose significant risks.

  • Audit data, troubleshoot, and track issues.

  • Provide on-call support during scheduled times, if required.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with client stakeholders to understand organizational processes, needs, and develop best practices, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • Serve as a liaison between business operations, providers, and IT to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

  • Collaborate across applications on integrated solutions, leveraging insights from client interactions to inform decision-making.

General:

  • Manage small projects and complete assigned deliverables.

  • Provide thorough documentation of build changes, tasks, and projects.

  • Provide clear and organized status reports on key project areas.

  • Participate in meetings, reviews, and design sessions.

  • Stay current with Epic certifications and application knowledge.

  • Comply with all HIPAA policies, procedures, and training requirements.

Required & Desired Skills

Required Skills and Experience

  • Current Epic Radiant certification.

  • Epic Analyst: 3+ years of experience in the analysis, design, build, testing, and maintenance of Epic applications.

  • Senior Epic Analyst: 5+ years of experience in the analysis, design, build, testing, and maintenance of Epic applications.

  • A successful track record supporting Epic system enhancements and upgrades.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting and effectively tracking and resolving issues.

  • Proven ability to follow change control and testing procedures.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Comfortable working both independently and in teams.

  • Able to prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and manage small projects.

  • Knowledge of the healthcare workflows related to Epic applications.

  • Able to provide on-call support during scheduled times, if required.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Certification in additional Epic applications.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

  • Experience partnering with trainers to support organizational training initiatives.

  • Ability to facilitate productive discussions and contribute valuable insights during collaborative sessions.
