Summary
As an Engagement Leader at Hummingbird, you will manage project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, oversee and guide project teams, and enhance sales expansion opportunities. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare system stakeholders, taking a proactive approach to identifying client needs, resolving issues efficiently, and delivering value.Responsibilities
Compensation: Starting at $152,000+, based on experience.
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Travel: 25%-35% for client visits, training, and company events.
Working Hours: Aligned with client hours. The initial client is in Eastern Time.
Work Location: This position is remote. You must work from a location within the United States with consistent internet service.
Project Leadership
Scope and lead comprehensive client projects, overseeing teams that conduct assessments and build roadmaps to improve client operations.
Set timelines and hold project teams accountable for project execution across service stages.
Accountable for deliverable creation, strategy and detailed plans that enable the strategy.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Continuously assess and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as necessary.
Client Lifecycle Management
Manage client lifecycle through Benchmark, Improve, and Migration-to-Operate stages.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, promptly addressing their needs and concerns.
Gather client feedback to drive continuous improvement of services.
Sales Expansion
Enhance sales expansion opportunities by developing deep partnerships with clients.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of client needs and how Hummingbird can help them mature.
Independently write compelling proposals, craft pitch slides, and deliver pitch presentations effectively to clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Market Positioning
Increase the company’s visibility and influence in the market by actively participating in industry conferences and contributing to blog posts, whitepapers, and other marketing collateral.
Deliver compelling presentations that highlight Hummingbird's value proposition.
Disseminate market reports to increase the company's visibility and influence in the market.
Engage with industry thought leaders to stay abreast of market trends and innovations.
Team Leadership
Provide day-to-day supervision to help your team meet department and organizational goals.
Review and guide project team members through project plans, deliverables, and project materials, ensuring expert quality is provided.
Conduct regular 1-1s with team members, offering guidance and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their objectives.
Assist managers by providing input for performance evaluations, resource allocation, and workload management.
Coordinate cross-functional work efforts and drive projects to timely completion.
Required & Desired Skills
Required Skills and Experience
8+ years of experience in project management and service delivery, in the Patient Access and/or Epic field.
Proven experience in patient access and/or Epic project leadership, including scoping, planning, execution, and delivery of project materials.
Strong client management skills, with a focus on lifecycle management.
Demonstrated ability to enhance sales expansion opportunities through client partnerships.
Leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
Healthcare management consulting in the patient access and contact center domain.
Strong proposal writing, slide and visual creation, and project pitching skills.
Experience representing a company at industry conferences and presentations.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Familiarity with market trends and innovations in the Healthcare IT and patient access industry.
Change Management and Project Management certifications.
