THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our sales processes, tools, and communication. This role will partner closely with the Director of Sales and cross-functional teams to manage sales systems, support planning and forecasting, and ensure seamless execution of retail programs and promotions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Operations & Systems

  • Manage and maintain sales trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure accurate, real-time visibility into business performance.
  • Support sales planning, forecasting, and pricing initiatives
  • Own trade spend and promotion tracking; reconcile data with accounting and ensure accurate linkage to business systems.
  • Manage product information and content and coordinate updates as needed.
  • Assist with integration and optimization of tools such as Vividly.

Sales Enablement

  • Develop, update, and organize sales tools including sell sheets, one-pagers, spec sheets, price lists, and presentations.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing collateral for brokers, retailers, and distributors.
  • Maintain centralized resources and ensure the sales team has up-to-date materials and data.

Retailer & Broker Coordination

  • Support and communicate retailer programs and promotions, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Serve as a key liaison with broker partners - ensuring timely communication, performance tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Oversee new customer setup forms, item submissions, and pricing approvals.

Cross-Functional & Event Support

  • Collaborate across Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to execute sales initiatives smoothly.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, trade shows, and customer events - including sample shipments, materials, and booth coordination.
  • Participate in customer and distributor meetings; manage follow-up action items.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of sales and/or trade marketing experience
  • Food or CPG industry experience preferred. Passion for the industry required.
  • Bachelors degree is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Have a proven track record working in a successful team environment.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • High attention to details with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with systems like Vivdly, demandtec, and 1worldsync a plus (not required)
