About the Role

The Hopscotch Care Team is responsible for delivering high-touch, high-quality care to patients, including coordination of care across different physicians and within the healthcare system.

As Care Center Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations of the clinic. Mangers are expected to support and supervise clinical and non-clinical staff, manage operational performance, drive operational processes and initiatives, advise culture to enable great patient care and outcomes, as well as engagement and satisfaction of patients and providers. A successful Care Center Manager ensures the clinic runs smoothly to achieve key performance metrics by implementing successful management processes.

This position is based in Hudson, NC and will start in August 2024.

What You'll Do

Specific responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership and foster collaboration across team members in Hopscotch clinics to deliver best-in-class patient care, support care teams and achieve goals around clinical outcomes, quality, operational and financial:
  • Manage, coach, and mentor multidisciplinary teams of 5-10+ professionals at a single location
  • Partner with physician leaders to enable successful clinical, operational, and financial outcomes and ensure they have the appropriate support needed
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to share clinic information, identify/resolve/escalate issues and concerns, and support on-going training and development
  • Advocate for patients and team members and foster a patient-centered, positive and supportive work culture
  • Lead day-to-day operations at the clinic, ensuring robust processes are being followed to achieve clinical, quality, operational and financial metrics:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of clinic and staff to ensure smooth delivery of care
  • Manage needs across clinical facilities, including building facility maintenance
  • Monitor wrap-around patient services impacting patient care, including transportation and field-based work when applicable
  • Ensure a positive patient experience both in and out of clinic setting
  • Oversee care delivery for up to 1,000+ patients, ensuring patients receive superb care they would willingly refer others to in the community
  • Assist Director of Clinic Operations with budgeting requests when assigned
  • Lead scheduling and billing processes to promote effective execution and efficiency, ensuring alignment to standard operations
  • Lead execution of operational and strategic initiatives across clinics
  • With the support of the director, drive achievement of key clinical, financial, and quality metrics at the clinic to drive engagement and satisfaction of patients and providers across Hopscotch clinics:
  • Assist Director of Clinic Operations with managing financial reporting and clinic P&Ls when assigned
  • Track key performance metrics in assistance of scorecard creation by Clinic Director
  • Ensure compliance is met at clinic including but not limited to: HIPAA, CLIA, and OSHA.
  • Serve as an ambassador for your clinic in the community and invest to support the culture and mission of Hopscotch in clinics and in surrounding communities:
  • Actively develop community relationships and partnerships
  • Lead growth initiatives for clinic and oversee community outreach
  • Ability to learn and fill in at key customer service and operational roles across clinic when needed

About You

You would be a great fit for this position if you have experience managing large multidisciplinary teams in healthcare, a proven record of accomplishment of delivering financial and operational results and are passionate about delivering superb care to those who need it the most. Supervisory experience in a clinical setting is required.

A great candidate for this role has:

  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting, managing teams both remotely and in-person
  • Experience successfully managing financial and operational performance metrics preferred
  • Passion for a mission-driven organization focusing on mentorship, collaboration, and team-based approaches (Ideally with an interest in serving senior and high need populations)
  • An understanding of the needs and culture within the communities we are serving and how to achieve successful outcomes with a sensitivity to those needs
  • A track record of:
  • Applying integrity, good judgment, problem-solving skills and critical thinking at work
  • Enhancing and building processes to achieve outcomes and metrics
  • Bringing a flexible, positive attitude and a team-first approach to work
  • Learning new concepts and a get-things-done attitude

Additional skills and requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proven reliability, organization, and dependability
  • Proficient PC skills
  • US work authorization
