This role will sit on our revenue team, servicing all cross-functional partners as we work to centralize our data and continue to build a strong data & insights practice for key decision making, especially as it pertains to building a best in class customer experience while balancing revenue growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of how all business functions operate within a DTC and wholesale retailer, leverage data and insights to drive key decision making, and prioritize customer experience as a top KPI. This candidate should have experience with business intelligence platforms, relational databases, and website tracking platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with all cross-functional teams (ecommerce, marketing, planning, operations, finance, merchandising, and stores) to understand business problems and build reports in our business intelligence platform (Looker) to solve for these problems
- Build weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for internal and investor consumption, including but not limited to customer insights, profitability measurement, site engagement, and product acceptance reports
- Train team members on pulling actionable insights from reporting that directly translate to gains in revenue growth, customer retention, and sell through rates
- Manage data pipelines from 10+ disparate data sources, data warehouse (Snowflake) and modeling layer, and business intelligence platform (Looker) end to end
- Evaluate efficacy of key business programs & identify optimization opportunities within these programs, such as opening of new store locations, expansion into new product categories, and our international growth strategy
- Present insights decks regularly to key stakeholders with rolled up takeaways and concise learnings
- Lead stand up of customer data platform and loyalty program, ensuring accurate identity resolution & marketing programming while conceptualizing and actioning on retention testing across owned channels
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in ecommerce or cross-functional role at DTC retail organization
- Data-first mindset, with robust experience managing streamlined reporting across a suite of platforms for multiple teams
- Test & learn mindset, ideally with tangible site or marketing testing experience
- Thorough understanding of cross-functional responsibilities and strong communication skills to communicate learnings that span multiple functions
- Proficient in Excel, with in-depth knowledge of vlookups, index-matching, conditional equations, and pivot tables
- Experience pulling reporting from Shopify and Google Analytics or comparable site tracking platform
- Nice to have: in-depth knowledge of relational databases, proficient in SQL and/or dbt, and LookML experience, marketing platform reporting experience
- Excellent presentation skills, specifically around identifying actionable insights from huge amounts of data to direct strategy at highest leadership levels
- Comfortable shifting priorities quickly to accommodate fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Comfortable balancing accurate data foundation with high-impact business priorities that require quick answers
- Embraces a culture of learning and advocacy
- Has lived experiences with people from different backgrounds and diverse teams
- Salary range: $80-90k
