Harbor Health looking for a dynamic Clinical Reporting Director to become a member of our team! The Clinical Reporting Director will be responsible for build and configuration functions in the electronic medical record, including integrations as appropriate. This position will develop EMR infrastructure that support the implementation of Harbor Health’s Care Plans and ultimately, Harbor Health’s Health Pathways. The Clinical Reporting Analyst will also serve as organization super user, providing training/instruction where required for other staff members.

Our Clinical Reporting Director will be responsible for:

  • Create initial library of primary care templates within Company’s EMR
  • Create Company approved clinical guidelines
  • Make recommendations on improvements to templates and guidelines to improve clinical usability, quality and efficiency
  • Support data connectivity and EHR integration activities
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to develop, or review and modify operational processes, policies, and procedures
  • Oversee all programming and accuracy of treatment plans and protocols within EHR
  • Manages the integration of data between ancillary systems and EMR, ensuring accuracy
  • Act as expert and trainer for existing applications, along with supporting implementation and rollout of application enhancements
  • Participate in clinical operations meetings to understand user feedback and requirements for future application modifications, and provide statuses on competencies, adoption, and utilization rates

Successful Clinical Reporting Directors will have:

  • 10+ years of clinical and/or informatics experience with active licensure in TX
  • Minimum of 5 years in Athena EHR experience and demonstrated proficiency
  • Basic proficiency in statistical analysis and project management
  • Experience with Utilization Reporting


Additional Skills & Experiences Preferred include:

  • Previous NR, Advance Nurse Practitioner

  • Active nursing license in the state of TX
  • Microsoft & Google Office Suite experience
  • Project management experience in Slack, Miro, Asana
  • Experience in other EHR systems e.g. eClinicalWorks desirable
  • Certification in Healthcare Quality

Remote work 80% with occasional physical meetings in the Austin, TX area
