About the Role

We’re looking for a Proposal and Capture Manager within our Go-To-Market Team to play a foundational role in accelerating Gallatin’s impact within the United States Government. As the first proposal & capture specialist, you will partner directly with the Head of Business Development and executive team to deliver compelling solutions to the DOD’s most pressing logistics challenges. You own the capture process, analyzing solicitations to assess fit, orchestrating the proposal development and review process and owning compelling end results.

As a Proposal and Capture Manager you are passionate, knowledgeable and curious about artificial intelligence and military logistics. You will have a high attention to detail and be an excellent planner. You will own the day to day execution of our proposal process, collaborating cross-functionally to bring the best of Gallatin to our customers in written communication. You should feel comfortable working towards tight deadlines and thrive in ambiguous environments.

You have a bias toward finding not just one-off solutions, but repeatable and scalable ways to ensure we continually improve our process. You have a track record of managing winning submissions ranging from multi-volume RFP responses through quad chart submissions.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the Head of Business Development, executive stakeholders and internal subject matter experts to assess Gallatin’s alignment to solicitation requirements

• Develop and execute a detailed plan to ensure Gallatin submits timely and compelling responses to solicitations

• Write and design compelling materials for submission

• Collaborate with teaming partners to develop wholistic solutions

• Establish a cycle of continuous improvement for Gallatin’s proposal development process

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in defense proposal and capture management

• A technical background (education or professional experience with STEM) and track-record of working with advanced technology solutions

• Advanced cross-functional experience and collaborative ability

• Expert verbal and written communications

• A track record of going zero to one in a role

• Ability to operate independently and lead indirectly

• Prior experience in logistics or sustainment solutions

• Prior experience in defense artificial intelligence solutions
