Role Description:

Our fast-growing company is seeking a compassionate, action-oriented, forward-thinking team member who is in alignment with sublime hospitality and expansion to join as the Head of Business Operations. You will serve as the Chief of Staff to the CEO and leadership team, playing a pivotal role in translating our vision into actionable plans. The Head of Business Operations will work closely with our team leaders to streamline operations, drive key initiatives, and facilitate communication both across the team and with external stakeholders. Your unique blend of business acumen, financial analysis, and strategic thinking will be vital in scaling the impact of FORWARD__Space across various lanes and expressions.


You will be working across the company, pitching in to support analyses and decision making, leading cross-functional collaboration and catching new projects. Some of the primary responsibilities include:

Business Operations

  • Create, track and communicate individual and team KPIs for accountability and performance.
  • Identify best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and work with leaders to implement improvements.
  • Evaluate operational performance, including marketing effectiveness, staffing and retail performance.


  • Lead annual budgeting process, and maintain the long range financial model.
  • Review the monthly close with our accounting team, and prepare monthly business reviews to assess performance against budget.
  • Create financial models for new business opportunities, leases and operational improvements.

Communications & Investor relations

  • Prepare initial investor and external stakeholder communications, manage investor and board administration.
  • Organize and communicate information for the CEO to facilitate efficient and prompt decision making.


  • Partner with the team to understand drivers of business growth, risks, and opportunities and drive the strategic long-range planning process (3-5 years)
  • Review and advise on new business and partnership agreements to maximize benefits and protection for FORWARD__Space.

Who we are looking for:

  • 2-4 years experience in a finance or strategic role, including: consulting, banking, private equity, or in a strategy, operations or growth role for a startup.
  • Experience in and/or passion for consumer experience businesses including retail, wellness and/or hospitality.
  • Strong business acumen and financial knowledge - familiar with a P&L and cash management.
  • Excellent communication, project management and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, independent and resourceful.
  • Eager to learn about all functions of the business.
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, team-focused, forward-moving environment.

Compensation ranges from $85k - $110k with potential for equity
