🧑‍🚀 About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing remote-first team. The BDR will play a crucial role in driving outbound prospecting, generating opportunities, and initiating meaningful conversations with potential customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with hardware professionals and leadership, understand their needs, and ultimately contribute to the growth of our company.

- Conduct outbound prospecting efforts to identify and qualify potential leads within the hardware industry.
- Engage with Electrical Engineers, Hardware Designers, and hardware teams to understand their challenges, workflows, and pain points.
- Utilize various communication channels (email, phone, social media) to initiate conversations and nurture relationships with prospects.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to set up qualified meetings and opportunities for further engagement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and lead statuses in CRM software.
- Continuously learn about our product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.

🎯 You might be a good fit if you have

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a business development, sales, or customer-facing roles, preferably in the hardware (or software) industry.
- Strong understanding of hardware design processes and familiarity with Electrical Engineering concepts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals/targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated individual with a proactive mindset and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively prioritize tasks.
