About DayDream
Watch the DayDream Story in 7-Minutes
DayDream helps dentists get paid for the work they do. In this $165B market, our product simplifies the complex process of verifying insurance coverage, submitting claims, appealing denials, billing patients, and maintaining clean books. As a result of how complex this process is and how many things get lost in the process, dentists can lose 10-20% of their revenue!
What this leads to is the things patients hate about the American healthcare system: it’s inefficient, unaffordable, and just too d*mn confusing. We work with a lot of dentists and they don’t love it either. Dentists want to treat you, help you, and see you smile.
We believe that by automating parts of revenue cycle management, we increase financial transparency for everyone involved - patients, providers, and help support small business owner dentists across America. Practices that work with DayDream can recover

The Role
As the Founding Business Operations hire at DayDream, you’ll play a critical role in building the internal systems, strategic foundation, and go-to-market motion that power our next stage of growth through the Series A and beyond. You’ll operate as a cross-functional generalist with a focus on solving high-priority business problems—ranging from customer acquisition and enterprise expansion to operational efficiency and customer experience. If you are looking to start your own company or operate a 7-figure business, this is the perfect place to be the right hand to the founders.
This will be an ever-evolving role, but some immediate responsibilities include:
Strategy & Internal Operations (70-80%)
Solve operational bottlenecks: Identify and fix pain points in how customers experience DayDream - from sales to onboarding to customer success. We went from 0 to 1 quickly, many of these critical functions are emerging, you can help build and structure them
Lead cross-functional initiatives: Own high-priority projects across the company: from fundraising to large 7-figure enterprise deployments to hiring the next
Define and track key business KPIs: Build dashboards, reporting, and analytics frameworks that help the team make faster, more informed decisions.
Build foundational systems: Help design and implement scalable internal processes and tools that support DayDream’s delivery model
Be a strategic partner to the founders: Take on ambiguous or urgent priorities and help drive clarity and execution when it matters most
Growth, GTM, and External Engagement (20–30%)
Support go-to-market strategy: Help define customer segments, pricing models, and GTM motions for both consumer and enterprise growth
Manage key enterprise relationships: Support pricing, onboarding, and success for DayDream’s customers, along with DayDream’s founder
Bring customer insights into the business: Work closely with product and ops teams to translate partner and patient feedback into product roadmap decisions
Build external-facing collateral: Create case studies, sales materials, and pitch decks that tell DayDream’s story and drive adoption
What we’re looking for
2-3 total years of experience, ideally in a combination of top tier management consulting or investment banking plus experience in high-growth environments (e.g., startups, externships, starting your own company/side hustle)
Analytical and strategic thinker – You’re comfortable structuring ambiguous problems, analyzing data, and using insights to drive smart decisions. You bring a metrics-driven mindset to everything you touch.
High-agency operator – You take full ownership of problems and move quickly. You're equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
Cross-functional – You build strong relationships across product, ops, sales, and clinical teams, and you know how to navigate competing priorities to drive projects forward.
Customer- and partner-savvy – You can hold your own in a customer meeting, intuitively read a room, and represent DayDream with clarity, empathy, and thoughtfulness.
Clear and structured communicator – Whether you’re writing a memo, building a deck, or aligning stakeholders in a meeting, you communicate with clarity and intent.
Preference for individuals with experience in or passion for the intersection of healthcare and technology to solve real-world problems
