The role:

Our platform spans front-end, backend, ML, and real-time edge systems. In this role, you’ll design and maintain core backend services that drive data flows, reliability, and performance across the stack.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of the APIs, databases and data pipelines

• Ensure the system can scale to the growing traffic, have full observability and drive down the cost

• Taking end-to-end responsibility over delivery of features, maintaining high SLA and debugging issues

• Supporting a broader front-end, edge-computing and ML team

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industry experience with an emphasis on building systems of reasonable scale

• Familiarity with and experience in Go or Python

• Experience designing, implementing, debugging, scaling, and optimizing APIs, databases and pipelines as traffic grows to multi-TB scale

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code solutions (Pulumi, AWS) is a plus

• Experience in monitoring (Grafana) is a plus

• Experience in authentication (Auth0) is a plus

• Experience working with distributed teams across time zones

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English

• Ability to work in an onsite environment
