About the Role

As an Operator you will be a vital part of our Revenue Cycle function at our Mountain View, CA location. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for growth within the Operations team working on the medical billing sector.

This full-time on-site position operates at Mountain View, CA, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We offer a starting wage of $20.00/hr and provide comprehensive training, so no previous billing experience is necessary.

What You’ll Do

  • Data Management: Oversee the collection, entry, and analysis of data essential for claim submissions, reconciliations, and denials. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all processed data.

  • Problem Resolution: Identify and address discrepancies in data. Communicate effectively with necessary parties to resolve issues quickly, maintaining workflow efficiency.

  • Professional Communication: Maintain regular and professional interactions via phone with patients, insurance representatives, and healthcare providers, ensuring courteous and efficient communication.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations leaders to ensure seamless data processing and accurate reporting, contributing to operational excellence.

  • Growth Opportunity: Learn operational processes and gain knowledge of healthcare related technologies to grow with the company!

What You Have

  • Educational Background: Associate degree (AA) required; Bachelor's degree preferred in office management, business administration, or a related field.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and vlookups; familiarity with EHR/EMR systems a plus. Comfortable with using Excel on a day-to-day basis (e.g. pivot tables, etc.) Familiarity with SQL a big bonus.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective interactions with various stakeholders.

  • Time Management: Proven ability to efficiently manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
