Manager, Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

We are looking for a Manager of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships to join our Growth Team, reporting into our VP and Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships.

In this role, you will be part of the team that develops and executes on Commure’s go to market strategy and forges partnerships with companies big and small for our partnership ecosystem.

You will be part of the team that identifies new CommureOS use cases for our foundational health system and payer customers, develops partnerships with digital health innovators (startup and high-growth digital health companies delivering care and software), and drives channel partnerships for our product portfolio.

You will be a key member of the Growth team responsible for driving revenue and ensuring customer success. It is a critical role that cuts across go-to-market motion, revenue generation, input into product roadmap, strategy, and partnership development.

This is a remote position.

The following responsibilities will support the evaluation and execution of revenue generating partnerships, primarily for CommureOS and Commure Strongline.

    • Lead market sizing/opportunity assessments to guide Commure’s go-to-market strategy. Includes:
      • Identifying and vetting use cases for CommureOS working with Product, and Sales
      • Identifying and vetting new customer segments for Commure Strongline working with Sales
      • Performing competitive analysis and merging findings into recommendations working with Product Marketing
    • Identify and vet revenue generating channel partners for CommureOS and Commure Strongline.
  • Identify and vet potential OEM technology and/or Digital Health Innovator partners to bolster our product offerings. Identify and vet potential partners and create recommendations regarding build/buy/partner strategy and execution, working closely with Product.
  • Support executive leadership initiatives with ad hoc market and partnership assessments.
  • May develop and manage partnerships with OEM technology, Digital Health Innovator, and Channel partners working with BD/Partnerships Directors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years management consulting (or similar formal strategy) experience in healthcare, working with health systems and/or payers on digital transformation topics
  • MBA
  • Experience leading partnerships strategy and execution
  • Experience in a SaaS or Platform startup environment, with deep understanding of both traditional enterprise sales and SaaS sales models, particularly in healthcare

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA in business, healthcare, marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare and digital health
  • Experience developing market assessments and go-to-market strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling
  • Experience working with/managing external partners
  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication/presentation skills with ability to influence people in various functions
  • Experience working cross-functionally to collaborate and execute on initiatives

The salary range that Commure reasonably expects to pay for this position is $127,000-$190,000. Actual salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications.
