We are on a steep growth curve and are looking for a Property Manager to join our team in Madrid where you will play a crucial role in the management of our property portfolio in Spain. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including overseeing properties, maintaining positive relationships with tenants and landlords, managing finances, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management:
- Oversee a designated portfolio of properties in Spain, including the regular review of existing maintenance and service contracts.
- Manage all aspects of the assigned assets, ensuring comprehensive 360° Property Management.
- Full responsibility for the set-up and launch of new properties.
- Run day-to-day operations of our properties, streamline local operations, and set up new processes.
- Maintenance and Inspections:
- Inspect properties regularly and coordinate maintenance activities to meet Habyt’s standards.
- Handling claims with insurance companies, applying for or processing payment, and eviction actions with the debt collection company.
- Tenant and Landlord Relations:
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with tenants and landlords through effective account management.
- Negotiate lease extensions with landlords in a timely and reliable manner.
- Financial Management:
- Collect accounts receivables and handle operating expenses efficiently.
- Develop and manage quarterly/annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data, and trends.
- Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance for our portfolio.
- Personnel Management:
- Oversee properties’ personnel and assess their performance to ensure operational excellence.
Your Qualifications
- 1-2 years of property management experience, ideally within residential, co-living, or commercial real estate.
- Good understanding of residential and commercial tenancy laws, as well as core property management principles.
- Professional fluency in both Spanish and English is essential for effective communication with tenants, landlords, and team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in CRM tools (Salesforce) and ticketing systems (Freshdesk) being a plus.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and budgeting processes, including creating comprehensive budgets, calculations, and reports.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High resilience, structured thinking, and a results-oriented approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
