We are on a steep growth curve and are seeking a versatile and highly motivated Operations Intern to work closely with our General Manager for France. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks across many aspects of business operations. You’ll be instrumental in helping our Paris office run smoothly, supporting the GM in day-to-day activities, and playing an essential role in the ongoing success of Habyt in the French and Belgian markets.

Your Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Issue Resolution: Handle tenant issues such as breakdowns, equipment problems, internet outages, and other day-to-day challenges.
- Key Management: Organize the handover and collection of keys with our partner Keynest to ensure smooth tenant check-ins and check-outs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain equipment like washing machines, boilers, and other appliances, coordinating with external service providers as needed.
- Common Area Management: Ensure the common areas are well-maintained (cleaning, repairs, etc.), making sure they meet the company's standards.
- Coordination with Service Providers
- Outsourcing: Coordinate the intervention of external contractors for urgent repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Quality Control: Ensure service providers deliver high-quality work, and report any issues or shortcomings.
- Supplier Relations: Assist in managing suppliers to optimize costs and ensure continuity of services.
- Administrative and Operational Support
- Incident Reporting: Log and track operational issues in the internal management system.
- Inventory Management: Manage the stock of consumables (light bulbs, cleaning supplies, etc.).
- Logistical Support: Assist in various logistical tasks to ensure smooth operations across the properties.
- Portfolio Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for Habyt users, guiding them through their journey with us, ensuring high success rates.
- Assist in resolving ongoing support queries from our valued members promptly and professionally.
- Prioritize and skillfully manage support tickets to ensure a consistently high level of service and updated pipeline.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of an outstanding customer experience.
- Handle key issues, documents, contract inquiries, billing requests, and other processes related to members’ tenancy for a smooth co-living experience.
- Collect, report and use member feedback to generate ideas and improve our services and living experience.
Your Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Ideally, 6 months of experience in operations or property management, but open to entry-level candidates with the right mindset.
- Interest in the real estate or housing industry, with a strong willingness to learn about housing operations and property management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage time multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in English and French, to engage professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members. Dutch is a bonus.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a positive attitude, with a natural ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; experience with CRM or property management software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to address issues efficiently and apply critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
